Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 March 2026
1. Service Description
FlagMail is an AI-powered email classification and alert service operated by 8Cores Pte. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”). We read your incoming emails, classify them into categories, and send smart alerts to your preferred messaging channels (currently Telegram, with additional channels planned). By using FlagMail, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Account & Access
You must sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use FlagMail. One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.
3. Free & Paid Plans
FlagMail offers a free tier with limited features and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel at any time — your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Refund Policy
- Monthly plans: Full refund available within 14 days of your first payment. No refunds for subsequent renewal charges.
- Annual plans: Full refund available within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, you may cancel and your plan remains active until the end of the annual period — no pro-rated refunds.
- To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account email and reason for refund.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use FlagMail for illegal purposes, to spam, or to violate the privacy of others. You must not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service. You must not use automated systems to create accounts or abuse the service. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Service abuse includes but is not limited to: excessive API calls, creating multiple free accounts, using the service to circumvent email security controls, scraping or bulk-exporting data for purposes unrelated to personal email management, or any activity that degrades the service for other users.
5. Intellectual Property
The FlagMail service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by 8Cores Pte. Ltd. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of your email content — FlagMail does not claim any rights over your emails.
AI-generated classifications and summaries produced by the service are provided for your personal use as part of the service. You may export and use them freely. We do not claim ownership over AI-generated outputs specific to your emails.
6. Third-Party Services
FlagMail relies on third-party services to operate, including Google Gmail API, Google Gemini AI, Telegram Bot API, and Stripe. The availability, performance, and features of FlagMail depend on these services. We are not responsible for outages, changes, or discontinuation of third-party services. Changes to Google's APIs may require us to modify or limit FlagMail features.
7. Limitation of Liability
FlagMail is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI classifications will be accurate. We are not liable for missed emails, incorrect classifications, delayed alerts, or service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of FlagMail is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or S$50, whichever is greater.
AI Classification Disclaimer:FlagMail's AI classifications and summaries are provided for informational purposes only. You should not rely solely on FlagMail for time-critical, legal, medical, or financial communications. FlagMail is not a substitute for reading your email. You remain solely responsible for monitoring and responding to your emails.
No Uptime Guarantee: FlagMail does not guarantee any specific uptime, availability, or service level. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control without prior notice.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 8Cores Pte. Ltd., its officers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of FlagMail, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with reasonable notice where practicable. Upon termination:
- You will have 30 days to export your data using the export feature in Settings > Privacy before it is permanently deleted.
- If we terminate your account for cause (e.g. abuse), we may delete your data immediately.
- Your Gmail OAuth access is revoked and all stored classification data, preferences, and hashed identifiers are permanently deleted.
- Paid subscriptions will not be renewed, but no refund is issued for the remaining period unless the termination was our error.
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, internet outages, third-party API changes or outages, government actions, or cyberattacks.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of FlagMail after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may delete your account before they take effect.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, the parties shall submit the dispute to mediation at the Singapore Mediation Centre before proceeding to litigation. If mediation fails, either party may submit the matter to the courts of Singapore.
You agree to resolve any disputes with us on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration against 8Cores Pte. Ltd.
13. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and 8Cores Pte. Ltd. regarding FlagMail. They supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral.
15. Assignment
We may assign or transfer these Terms, and any rights and licences granted hereunder, to a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.
16. Service Availability Credits
If the service is materially unavailable for more than 30 consecutive days due to causes within our control, paid users may request a pro-rata refund for the affected period by contacting [email protected]. This does not apply to scheduled maintenance, force majeure events, or third-party service outages.
17. Electronic Communications
By creating an account, you consent to receive electronic communications from us regarding your account, service updates, security notices, and changes to these Terms or our Privacy Policy. These communications may be sent via email to the address associated with your account or displayed as in-app notifications.
